MPC's 9th ‘Fotografi Mata Emas’ or Golden Eye Photography Exhibition: Showcasing Amazing Works at MCC Building
MALANG – Malang Photo Club (MPC) once again amazed photography lovers by holding a photo exhibition entitled ‘The Art Observation’ at Malang Creative Center. This event is open to the public and lasts for four days, starting from April 26 to 29, 2024, from 09.00 to 21.00 WIB, located in the 4th-floor art gallery room.
Supported by Pos Aja and BacaMalang.com, the exhibition featured eight themes, with ten photos for each theme, which amounted to 80 photos during the event. One of the main themes was ‘The Art of Observation,’ which became the main highlight even though the theme changes every year.
Although this exhibition is an annual event, MPC regularly collects photos from its members every month. The event was open to the public on the first day with the opening and awards, followed by a workshop titled ‘AI Photography’ hosted by Apri AJ on the second day. This was followed by a casual talk show with MPC members.
On the third day, the exhibition hosted a workshop, ‘Photography Creative Portrait Lightning,’ presented by Gondo Siswanto, brand ambassador of Nikon Indonesia, as well as a photo competition titled ‘Conceptual Portrait’ that enlivened the enthusiastic visitors.
Anom Harya, the organizer of MPC’s 9th Golden Eye Exhibition, expressed his satisfaction at the success of this year’s event. The exhibition, which was again held at the Malang Creative Center Building, attracted more visitors than ever before. The event was also attended by the PJ Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, and the Minister of Cooperatives and Micro and Small Enterprises, Teten Masduki.
“We are very impressed with the facilities at the MCC, especially the art gallery space on the 4th floor. We are grateful for the publicity done by the Malang Creative Center so that this event runs successfully and smoothly,” said Anom.
Anom also welcomed the collaboration with MCC in facilitating the organization of MPC’s annual exhibition in the art gallery. “This layout makes our exhibition seem more exclusive. We hope to continue working with Malang Creative Center to organize annual exhibitions in the future.” (Tan/Aur).
